The Jack Stafford Foundation is an acoustic singer-songwriter duo, Jack Stafford and Jasmine Wynants. They met in February 2005 at the launch party in Amsterdam’s Casa Roso for Jack Stafford's debut album – Exes. Having met the right girl they now make beautiful music together. They've supported Supergrass, the Veils and the Rakes, and are now working on the band’s second album. Jasmine Wynants is a Belgian singer-songwriter who grew up in Singapore where she performed before moving to the Netherlands. Jack Stafford is English but has lived in the Netherlands since 1999. The backing band for some gigs is a Dutch super-group, Eddy Steeneken [Flemming] keyboards, Santiago (double bass) and Rob Klerkx [Supersub] on drums and percussion. They’re currently working on their new album – swapping the Electrock sound of Exes for a new sound built on beautiful vocal harmonies, acoustic guitars and other elements. Jack also designs the gig posters, website, artwork, even the clothes. His suits are now available in shops and have been modeled by other artists, including the Fun Loving Criminals.
